Vicky Unwin

Vicky Unwin has had a long career in publishing in Africa. She was publisher of the African Writers Series and is a member of the Council for the Caine Prize for African Writing. She worked in the UK as Enterprise Director for the Telegraph Group, was Managing Director of PRNewswire and, most recently, Media Director for the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development.Love and War in The WRNS was written as a form of bereavement therapy following the death of her mother and daughter and her own diagnosis with a malignant sarcoma of the calf.
