Wynne Benti

With the publication of her first book, Favorite Dog Hikes In and Around Los Angeles in 1995, Wynne started Spotted Dog Press. Having summited over 1000 peaks in the west including Baja and Alaska, as well as a moonlight solo ascent of Mt. Fuji during a typhoon, Wynne was awarded the Sierra Club's Desert Peaks list finisher pin #105 and Hundred Peaks list finisher #264. She spends most of her time exploring North America by foot, canoe or on her BMW F650GS. She rode her BMW to Alaska and back, and most recently, solo to the 75th anniversary Black Hills Rally in South Dakota. Her articles on hiking and motorcycling have appeared in several magazines including BMW On and RoadRunner.
