Lucinda Race is an American author of mystery, women’s fiction, and romance. She published 30 books and still going strong.
"I’m a small-town girl who has always loved books. As a kid, I would read anything I could get my hands on, including my brothers’ Hardy Boys mystery books and my mother’s Good Housekeeping magazine," the writer describes herself.
She said later her biggest influences are Carolyn Keene, Agatha Christie, and the book On Writing by Stephen King.
Lucinda Race holds an Associate's degree in Business & Management from the University of Southern New Hampshire. Before becoming a romance novelist she has written non-fiction for a non-profit and corporate America. But after developing the storyline for The Loudon Series she began to realize her dream.
