Jeff Apter is the author of more than 20 books, many dealing with the world of music. He has written biographies of Keith Urban (Fortunate Son), the Finn brothers (Together Alone), Johnny O’Keefe (Rocker. Legend. Wild One.), Jeff Buckley (A Pure Drop) and the Bee Gees (Tragedy). As ghostwriter, he has worked with Kasey Chambers (A Little Bird Told Me), AC/DC’s Mark Evans (Dirty Deeds), Richard Clapton (The Best Years of our Lives) and rock-and-roll manager Michael Browning (Dog Eat Dog). He was also the creative consultant for 2015’s live production, A State of Grace: The Music of Jeff and Tim Buckley and spent four years on staff at Oz Rolling Stone.
