Yvonne Joye was raised in Cork City and graduated from University College Cork in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in German and Sociology. She moved to Dublin and worked in the financial services sector for almost a decade and subsequently in event management. Her first book titled "Ten Fingers and Ten Toes" was published in 2010. Yvonne now works as a freelance journalist, contributing to many national publications as well as having a weekly column with The Kerryman. She lives in South County Dublin with her husband and three children.
