Maya Banks is the American New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Breathless trilogy and more than sixty novels. She writes across many genres, including erotic, contemporary, historical, and paranormal.
She started publishing in 2006. Her first success was the story, No Place to Run, which landed on The New York Times Best Seller list in December 2010. Later many other romances made USA Today's list of best-selling books.
Her books have been published in 18 countries outside the United States, including Brazil, Japan, Finland, and others.
Maya Banks lives in Texas with her husband, three children, and their pets.
In January 2021, it was reported that Maya was seriously ill and hospitalized for a period of time. She is still recovering and writing when she can, but she has not been well enough to keep up with social media or messages.
