Suzanne Enoch

Suzanne Enoch is an American author of historical and contemporary Regency romance. Enoch has published over 35 romance novels. In 2023, she was named a Runner-Up for the Sloan Prize.

Suzanne Enoch was born in Southern California in the latter half of the 20th century. She initially considered a career in zoology. However, her interests shifted towards writing after realizing she could explore adventures in fiction rather than encountering real-life dangers.

She completed her English degree at the University of California, Irvine, where she began her writing career in romantic fantasy. In 1995, Avon Books published her first work, The Black Duke's Prize. Her early work primarily explored the Regency period, a theme that dominated much of her career.

Following the discontinuation of Avon's Regency line, Suzanne transitioned to historical romance, releasing Lady Rogue (1997). Over her tenure with Avon, she wrote 29 books, including two anthologies and a contemporary series that received two starred reviews from Publishers Weekly. One of these contemporary novels, Twice the Temptation (2007), was highlighted as one of the year's five best romances.

In 2002, her love for Star Wars led to her participation in the E! channel special Star Wars: The Force Is Back, discussing the series' romantic elements. Her bibliography includes the series The Bancroft Brothers, with titles such as By Love Undone (1998) and Taming Rafe (1999), and Lessons in Love, featuring The Rake (2002), London's Perfect Scoundrel (2003), and England's Perfect Hero (2004).

Her contemporary romantic suspense ventures began with the Samantha Jellicoe series, starting with Flirting with Danger (2005) and Don't Look Down (2005). In this series, she combines romance with thrilling narratives.

Suzanne Enoch resides in Placentia, California, surrounded by a collection of action figures from various cinematic universes, which she credits as her inspiration.
