Elsa Marston

Elsa Marston grew up in Newton Centre, Massachusetts, and is an award-winning author of over 20 fiction and non-fiction books for young readers. She has a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Harvard University, studied Middle Eastern History at the American University in Beirut, and earned a second Master’s degree in Art Education at Indiana University. She has lived in Egypt, Lebanon, and Tunisia. She writes about a variety of topics both close to home and abroad, including the Middle East and Arab-Americans, with the hope of contributing to a better understanding of the Arab/Muslim world. She lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
