Jai

Jai is a bestselling author, blogger, and researcher. In 2014, she self-published her memoir, It Is Forbidden: The Untold Story of Child Rape Survival, which started as a personal journal. As a result, she has spent a good amount of time and resources empowering others to tell their story and be free from the pain of it. Holding a dual graduate degree in International Management and MBA, Jai has worked in the research consulting field for over ten years which led to travel to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Indonesia and Cambodia to conduct focus groups, household surveys, one-on-one and group interviews with government officials and children affected by the worst forms of child labor, including child trafficking. This travel has broadened her senses to different cultures and lifestyles; and has created a deep respect to all mankind, regardless of ethnicity or backgrounds. The pain of Jai’s past has developed into a passion to help others with similar backgrounds, realizing there are people hurting all over the world. Her purpose in life is to be the voice of the child (boy or girl) who is being abused by someone they know, yet they do not have the wherewithal to verbalize the abuse. With that in mind, she has launched a platform under the umbrella of Matters of My Heart, LLC to create a dialogue for the hurt, for those in need just to be heard and not judged. Yes, Matters of My Heart, LLC was birthed out of her pain but has become a journey towards healing. Her focus now is to partner with individuals and local organizations to bring awareness to what is done in the dark, expose the ugly truths, and create an environment of healing for the hurt. The bottom line: Love Doesn’t Hurt.Where can you find Jai?Blog website: www.mattersofmyheart.comAuthor website: http://jaitheauthor.comAmazon author page: amazon.com/author/jai
