Lynne Graham is a Northern Irish bestselling author of over 100 romance novels with sales of forty-two million books worldwide. She published her first book in 1987.
Lynne Graham was born into Irish-Scottish parentage. She grew up in a seaside village with her brother. She learned to read at the age of 3 and hasn't stopped since then.
Lynne first met her husband when she was 14. At 15, she wrote her first book. Graham married after she completed a degree at Edinburgh University.
She started writing again when she was at home with her first child. It took several attempts before she sold her first book, Bittersweet Passion, in 1987.
"I am inspired both by the calming beauty of nature, but also by the everyday family experiences I’ve lived through. A key part of the romantic fantasy is thinking, ‘Maybe this could happen to me!’ So my readers must recognize aspects of themselves and their lives in my stories." Graham says.
Lynne always wanted a large family and had five children, one natural, and four adopted from Sri Lanka and Guatemala.
There is a rich and diverse cultural mix in Lynn's home, which adds a whole extra dimension of interest and discovery to family life. The family lives in a country house surrounded by a woodland garden, which is wonderfully private.
Lynne loves gardening and cooking, collects everything from old toys to rock specimens, and is crazy about every aspect of Christmas.
Lynne Graham has lived in Northern Ireland all her life.
