It seems a little strange that, whilst I love writing stories and going off into that magical world of make-believe, I actually find it very difficult to write about myself! This is not to be confused with 'talking' about myself which (many have said) is an art form that I have unquestionably mastered over the years!!I was born on 24th October 1964 (the middle of three sons) in a town called Middleton which is located in the northern county of Greater Manchester, England and have worked & lived in and around Manchester all of my life.I have a beautiful daughter and try to instil into her my three golden rules of life ... be yourself, treat others like you would want to be treated, but above all else, be honest! So what led me to become an Author? Well, for most of my life, I have dabbled with writing various pieces, from poems to short fictional stories, but never considered doing anything with them as they had always been just for fun. But in January 2009 I decided to have a go at writing a novel. Thus, "Letterbox" was conceived. It took me a year to complete, as I had to write it in my spare time, but found it to be one of the most satisfying and interesting paths that I have ever followed (and believe me, I've followed a lot of paths) and now I have the bug.My second novel "George: A gentleman of the road" was released in March 2013 and is receiving some great reviews and I have now finished my third offering entitled "The Good in Mister Philips" ... an erotic thriller!!And on that note, I will take my leave and conclude this short Bio. I hope that you will enjoy reading the books as much as I did writing them :-)Stay safe and be happy folks.Best wishes.Paul.
