Kay Sexton has been a finalist for several writing awards including the Sunday Times Short Story Award 2010. Among other occupations, she has been a charity chief executive, glamour model, tree-planter, mortician's receptionist and agony aunt for nudists in France. She has also presented at the UN about global problems. She has had several hundred short stories and articles published and divides her time between writing, running, and tending her allotment in Brighton.
