Wilma is a writer and artist from London. Her memoir Surf Mama tells the story of her life on the west coast of Ireland and in Biarritz, France,where she now lives. Having spent ten years as an earth mother in a fishing village on the Dingle peninsula she decided aged 44 to become a surfer. She took her three children to live in Biarritz, swapped a painting for a board and headed out into the ocean.
