Victoria Hay

Victoria Hay spent ten years teaching upper-division courses in writing and editing at Arizona State University. She then moved into administration, running an editorial office that did preproduction work for a half-dozen scholarly journals. Before joining ASU, she had a twenty-year career as a magazine journalist, during which she served as an editor at Arizona Highways and Phoenix magazines and as a frequent contributor to regional and national periodicals. Author of trade books published through William Morrow, Columbia University Press, and Folger Shakespeare Library, she has a doctorate in English literature and history. Her company, The Copyeditor's Desk, Inc., has two publishing imprints: Plain & Simple Press (nonfiction and PG-13 fiction) and Camptown Races Press (erotica: "Racy Books for Racy Readers").
