Grief has no timeline. But it doesn't have to have the final word either.

Let Them Go is written by someone who has stood on both sides of loss, as a hospice caregiver who has walked families through their hardest days, and as a daughter who buried her own mother. That dual perspective is rare, and it's what makes this book different from other grief books on the shelf.

Mary Alice Campbell doesn't offer easy answers. Instead, she offers something more lasting: a faith-centered path through grief that honors your loved one without letting sorrow control the rest of your life. Drawing on real experience with hospice patients and families, and on her own journey of releasing her mother into God's hands, she speaks with the kind of honesty that only comes from having lived it.

Inside, you'll find guidance for:

Understanding the difference between healthy grief and grief that has taken over your life
Preparing yourself and your family when a loved one's time is near
Navigating sudden, unexpected loss when there was no time to prepare
Getting through holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries without reopening the same wound every year
Trusting God with the memories, the guilt, and the questions you can't answer
Learning to say, "I will not forget them, but I will let them go"

Each chapter closes with a Reflection and Prayer, making this book equally suited for personal healing, daily devotion, or use in grief support groups and hospice ministry.

If you are grieving a parent, spouse, child, or friend, or if you care for the dying and the families they leave behind, Let Them Go will meet you exactly where you are, and gently walk you toward peace.

You can remember them with love. You can keep their picture. You can speak their name. And you can still let them go.
