Studying for and sitting examinations can be a very challenging and stressful experience for all of us, including “A star” students. Because we want to give our very best and to perform well on the day, it is entirely normal to feel anxious or nervous. That is why it is important to develop sufficient levels of confidence, without being over confident or too complacent, minimize the nerves and enable us to do ourselves justice.
To help you become confident at exams and achieve your highest possible grades two things are essential:
Firstly acquiring good study habits and skills, throughout the academic year, andDeveloping techniques for keeping calm and confident just before and during exams.
This audio presentation will explore a number of techniques to prepare you for exams so you are calm and confident on the day. Includes input from Professor Aidan Moran and Dr Denis McBrinn.
