Warlord of Mars

Dejah Thoris, Princess of Helium, lies imprisoned in the impenetrable Temple of the Sun. John Carter is determined to rescue her, but before he can act, she is stolen from the Temple by his arch enemies. John Carter must go to the far ends of Mars, into lands lost in antiquity, to retrieve and avenge his princess.
