Emotional hurt is what we get when our minds are not at peace with life or what is discordant within us. It expresses itself differently in everyone. However the bottom line is much of the hurt we perceive is down to ourselves.
We cannot take hurt on board unless we allow it to happen regardless of the content or who said what or what has happened. We are not super-humans, we can't just switch off but we can reduce the burden by not allowing negative emotions and other people's perspectives ruin the clarity of the moment and life itself.
